The power reserve is the time during which a fully wound mechanical watch runs to a stop: typically between 38 and 42 hours. The Powermatic caliber 80 allows the power reserve to be up to 80 hours. So you can leave this watch up to three days before you need to reset it...if you can last that long without it.
At the heart of this model beats a Powermatic caliber with a completely new Nivachron hairspring. This innovative material has been developed to offer greater resistance against magnetic fields.
In addition, thanks to its titanium base, this Swiss-made hairspring is extraordinarily resistant to both thermal variations and shocks.
